WHAT’S THE PERFECT MORNING FOR YOU?
On a perfect morning, I would wake up well-rested and spend at least an hour before checking my phone. In that time, I would meditate, drink warm lemon water and read a chapter of a book. The rest of the morning would involve getting outside and moving my body in some form of exercise (walk/run, cycle, or yoga).
HOW DO YOU WIND DOWN AFTER A BUSY WEEK?
At the end of a long week, I'd like to cook a nice meal, watch a show or movie with my husband, take a bath and head to bed early.
WHAT FAMOUS QUOTE WOULD BE YOUR PERSONAL TAGLINE?
"When you know how to listen, everyone is the guru" -Ram Dass
HOW DO YOU FLEX YOUR EMPATHY MUSCLES?
I try to lead with the assumption that everyone is doing their best in any given moment, that they have positive intentions. Self-study (in yoga philosophy, svadhyaya) is one of the tools I use; the better we understand ourselves, the easier it is to see ourselves in others and to empathize with them.
